The Gateway Lodge offers comfortable lodging and convenient access to Keystone Mountain. While the rooms are clean and the amenities like the grocery store are a bonus, the shuttle service can be unreliable and the kitchenette lacks a stove. Overall, it's affordable, but there are areas needing improvement.

I had a really disappointing experience at this condo, especially considering it was advertised as a four-star option. The location was decent, close to the slopes, but the accommodations and amenities left much to be desired. The lack of housekeeping and problems with hot water really hindered our stay. However, the convenience store and great dining experience at the Haywood Cafe were nice perks.

My recent stay was mixed; the condo was nicely updated but had a lot of issues from the moment we arrived. The layout feels more like a rental than a hotel, and the multitude of rental companies made check-in frustrating. On the plus side, the condo itself was nice and the pool area had potential. However, the service was lacking and parking was a hassle.

Our stay had its ups and downs. While the spacious multi-bedroom unit and amenities like thick towels and lovely soaps were nice, the cleanliness and maintenance issues were quite disappointing. We found dust everywhere, and some essential kitchen items were lacking. The location is appealing, but overall, I can't say it was worth the price given these problems.
